Hi, I'm Beth!

I'm the mom of four unique adult/almost adult children and "glammy" to 4 littles! I LOVE people, animals, children and am a sucker when it comes to stray or lost anything (I have many childhood memories of my mom shouting "Bring it back now!!!").

I believe that there is a God who loves me, who loves you, who loves everyone. When I look around at nature, my mind is totally blown, from majestic mountains and lovely sunsets  to the most delicate flowers, to the sweet smell of a newborn baby.  I love being outdoors. My heart is filled when I can be out in nature (except for the one time we were charged by elk, but that's a story for another time). You can often find me hiking, kayaking, cycling, running, or just strolling along a beach.

Mom, I've been where you are; I can relate to how you feel. I've lived it. Kids driving me crazy, not listening or obeying-me yelling at them and losing my temper, feeling helpless and out of control, life a referee or a frustrated zoo-keeper!

Once I figured out the secret sauce to peaceful and effective parenting, and trusted in the instincts that God had given me, my life got so much easier. And my kids listened and behaved better!

I can help you reach your full potential, too, so you can help your children reach theirs. I've successfully helped hundreds of moms like you go from yelling, frustration and guilt to confident, peaceful parenting. I'll help you step back from the brink of yelling, ditch the overwhelm and #momguilt, and say hello to a happy family! Together, we've got this!

A Bit About Me

My husband, Cary, and I have been married for more than 30 years! We raised 4 kids, and I read book after book on how to raise them and the precise parenting techniques to use to reach the desired result. But cookie cutter methods just didn't work for us! Although I may have read the books, clearly my kids hadn't and didn't know how they were "supposed" to respond when I used technique A, B, or C (and honestly, they didn't care what the experts said they were supposed to do!) So I sought out a different way. I focused first on nurturing myself, removing false or limiting beliefs that I held, and trusting that I was the perfect parent for my children and that God had sent them to me for a reason. Once I changed my approach, things went a lot smoother. I was happy, calm, and confident, which came across in the way I parented my kids, and they became happier and listened better.

In addition to my own gang, I've helped moms and families for more than 15 years, I have a D.Min (Doctor of Ministry) with a focus on children and families. I've led children's departments in many large and small churches and coached and counseled lots of kids and families over the years.  In 2013, I made a leap of faith to work on my own and completed my Life Coach Certification from CTA (Coach Training Alliance). Although I still love hanging out with children and families at church and in general, I spend the bulk of my professional time coaching women to parent peacefully, have confidence in their parenting abilities, and ditch limiting beliefs that stop them from reaching their personal, spiritual, and parenting goals. It's very rewarding work, and my clients have had lots of success changing the parenting dynamic in their homes so that their kids behave better and treat others with greater kindness and empathy.

My passion is to empower moms like you and  help you and your family reach your full potential.  When you work with me, I am fully invested in supporting you and helping you reach your goals of less yelling, less mom-guilt, happy kids who listen better and a happy family. Part of my gang! We enjoy hiking in interesting places, kayaking, spending time with the littles and fur babies, and anything at the beach!

I am doing well! Working with you was a great experience for me. I would say that I have noticed the most healing exactly where I was hoping I would — with my anger with my children. I know it’s only been a couple weeks, but I have not had an outburst since.
